The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded jointly to Carolyn R. Bertozzi, Morten Meldal and K. Barry Sharpless "for the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry". This is a special moment for our research gorup since our work is focussed on employing click and bioorthogonal chemistries for the study of complex glycans in living systems.
