Welcome to the Friscourt Lab!!

The Friscourt Lab is a research group in Chemical Biology at the European Institute of Chemistry and Biology from the CNRS and University of Bordeaux, France.

We aim at unravelling the functional roles of mammalian complex glycans (chains of monosaccharides) by exploiting organic chemistry to develop novel tools that can probe them in living systems.

For this purpose, our team employs combined chemical, enzymatic, biochemical and cell imaging approaches to develop novel glycomics technologies.
